Our God: Discovering the Names of God is the 2023-2024 Chapel Theme. Throughout the school year students will be discovering the Names of God and how those names reveal to us the character of God. Our theme verse is Psalm 86:11-12 which says, "Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever." Names that we will be focusing on are: Yahweh/I AM, El Elyon, Jesus, Emmanuel, Shepherd, Messiah/Christ, Abba, El Roi, Alpha and Omega. Not only will various grades take turns leading the chapel, but we will also have guest speakers and pastors that will give the chapel message. There are so many wonderful songs that teach us about God, and we will be learning many throughout the year. The theme song is "You are Holy (Prince of Peace)" and "Only a Holy God." All are welcome to join us each month for chapel and whole-school sings!
